Traditionally, Large Diaphragm Condensers are built around a 1" capsule. The KSM32C rewrites the rules. Its precision-engineered 3/4" capsule features an embossed Mylar diaphragm with thousands of microscopic indentations that lower the resonant frequency. This delivers the smooth response and extended low-frequency performance of a traditional 1" design, while achieving the exceptional off-axis rejection (up to 37 dB at 180°) typically reserved for small-diaphragm condensers. Combined with low self-noise, the result is cleaner, more isolated recordings that preserve the detail of the source. Ideal for vocals, instruments, drum overheads, and ensembles.
